In 1989, Renee Dutia founded Regali Inc, a merchandising company with a niche for serving high-end corporate clients. In search of how to best add an international flavor and capture the global experience of luxury in merchandising, Renee discovered the word "Regali" in an Italian dictionary during her travels to Italy. For three decades, the Regali brand has stood for all-rounded excellence and is a trusted vendor and supplier to prestigious clients.
For a decade, Renee operated as a gemologist and designer. In addition, she worked as a merchandiser for gemstone and jewelry trading companies across the globe.
After a decade of success, the glitter of the diamond trade began to wear off. Thus, Renee pivoted from the jewelry trade and ventured into creating branded, custom-made corporate gifts, merchandise and memorabilia for large-scale events and sponsorship contracts for prestigious corporate and non-profit clients. Clients included the Young Presidents Organization, Byron Nelson Golf Tournament, Texas Christian University, Visit Dallas, American Airlines Center and Major League Baseball (Partial Listing).
During this time, Dutia recognized the need for a robust, technological, customized digital platform to plan, forecast and organize inventory management for large-scale programs. As a result, the technology (Custom Apollo Portal) was a key differentiator for Regali, which served as an anchor to deliver complex orders with customization. In addition, the strength and futuristic approach to integrating technology and innovation into the merchandise program was unusual for a mid-size firm in the promotional industry.
Dutia's success in branded apparel and merchandise led her to work with prominent public sector agencies and companies such as Frito-Lay, Verizon, AT&T, PepsiCo and Fujitsu. The success of her business led Dutia to be selected by Super Bowls XLV, XLVI, and XLVII to be the preferred technology partner at the local level. In addition, they chose Regali to create the event's licensed merchandise.
Large Public sector clients such as NTTA, the City of Dallas, Dallas Community College District, DFW International Airport and Dallas County trusted the Regali team to execute large-scale branded uniforms and apparel and merchandise supply contracts.
Regali's airport journey began in 2010 when Dutia collaborated with renowned global Travel Retail Airport Concessions operator Hudson Group. Together they joined hands and collaborated to develop and secure a portfolio of Travel Retail concepts, Specialty Stores and Food & Beverage locations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport.
Regali is a collaborator and joint venture partner engaged with local and national brands. In addition, Regali works actively with airport stakeholders.
